Monkey, Elephant and Giraffes!

During one of Royce's breaks from Texas we took the kids to the Zoo. Sawyer loved to see any animal. Stockton said his favorite animal was the giraffe because they have long necks. Sometimes I think the boys came from the Zoo.

I love this sign! Stockton wanted to know what it said. So I being the good mother read it to him. His reply was "what is breading?" Some kids are to smart for me and this one is way to smart for me!!! (I think I need some help, please feel free to give me FREE advice)
But I am stil not Sure how they expect WILD boys to be quiet at the Zoo!

East Family Reunion

The family reunion was fun! The kids loved to play with the cousins. Sawyer slept during the games but Stockton had fun with the pinnata, the 4 legged race, and the oreo game.

So I say every year I am going to up date my blog every month, and every year I DON'T meet that goal!!!

This last few months have been busy. Royce has been in Texas for total of 8 weeks. It was hard for me and EXTREMILY hard for the boys. Sawyer would carry a family picture around and say Daddy! Royce took 3 trips to Texas and every time he would leave something would break! The first trip to Texas the washer and dry broke, I spent 3 week going to the laundry mat. (Which I learned to love since I could wash 7 loads of laundry at one time.)

Royce missed Easter, Fathers Day and part of July 4th. But I took lots of pictures so he could feel like her was there!

CHRISTMAS

This year Christmas as fun! Stockton was so excited to sit on Santaa lap. He has a list of presents for Santa to bring, but the thing he wanted most was a Stinky Garbage Truck!

Sawyer was not sure who Santa was and did not want to sit on his lap. He did not cry!

Christmas Eve Stockton was so excited he would not go to sleep. About 10:30 we layed down in the same bed and told Stockton to go to sleep, he said I don't know how. Royce told him to close his eyes and he said he forgot how to close his eyes. Stockton finally went to sleep.

On Christmas morning Stockton loved Stinky the Garbage Truck and Sawyer LOVED and I mean LOVED his toothbrush!

Sawyers 1st Birthday

I have lost something very important and I would like it back. TIME. Not sure where it has gone but my little Sawyer bug has turned one. When Sawyer was opening his presents I think he was overwhelmed. We gave him a gift the younger kids helped him open it then we took it away and would given him another present. All he wanted to do was play with the toys. Sawyer had his own cake to make a mess with and he wanted nothing to do with it.

Halloween

This year for Halloween all Stockton wanted to be was Toothless, the Dragon from How to Train Your Dragon. I looked everywhere for a Toothless costume and found nothing. So I got this great idea to take him to the store and see if you would be anything else. It did NOT work. Stockton folded his arms and stomped his feet and yelled (did I mention he YELLED!) I want to be Toothless or NOTHING! Thanks to my mom who is creative, Stockton was Toothless.
Sawyer being the cute stinky little brother was a Skunk! He was a cute Skunk, when he would leave his costume on.
The boys loved getting candy, and for weeks after halloween Stockton wanted to put on his Toothless costume and get candy!

HENRY MOUNTAINS

When it came time to put in for the hunting season, Royce asked me where I wanted to put in for. My reply was great, so I thought, "where am I NOT going to draw." So when it came back that I drew a Henry's deer tag, I was NOT excited. Royce was MORE than EXCITED!

So to make a long story short I shot my first Deer.

Wet n' Wild

The boys love to play in the water, (OK so do I). Every chance we get we are playing in the water, even if it is in the back yard.
Stockton is learning to be quite the negotiater, when I tell him we can not play outside in the water he askes if we can play in the house with the smimming pool. Since I am the mean mom I tell No! He says, later, in 5 minutes.

Fluffy and Potty Training

Everyone meet Fluffy! Fluffy is a small toy that is the size of a quarter and cost a quarter. We found Fluffy at Larry's Drive In, in the quarter machine. Fluffy goes everywhere with us. Everyday Stockton wants to get another Fluffy. Since Stockton was showing signs of wanting to be potty trained, I figured this would be a great way to bribe him. (What was I thinking?) Every day that Stockton has no accidents in his big boy pants he gets a Fluffy. Somedays Royce goes to Larry's Drive In and gets a Fluffy. Thanks Dad!

Playing in the Snow

The day after Christamas my mom and Ryker came down. We spent the day playing in the snow with Austin and Heather. The kids had a great time. So did the adults.

Stockton loves to play in the snow, or as he says it "Play in no" or "build a noman"

Stockton and Ryker making snow angels. The talent of doing two things at once it not there...yet...I hope it will come. They could not more their arms and legs at the same time.

Royce pulled the kids around in the snow. Most of the time Stockton wanted to drive the "four" Stockton wants to do it everyday, and can not understand why I wont let him drive the "four" and pull me and baby brother around.

Santa must of known that Stockton loves the snow, so he brought him snow clothes. He stayed warm with all the layers of clothing and all the running around he did.

Santa Stopped at our house

Christmas Eve Stockton sat on Santa's lap. It only lasted enough time to take a picture and he was crying. When we told Stockton it was time for bed and Santa was coming, he cried. He would not sleep in his bed, instead he slept with me and Royce. On Christmas morning when Stockton woke up we told him that Santa came to our house, he cried and said "NO not Santa."
Stockton would not get out of the bed. Royce had to carry him into the living room. Once he seen the presents he liked Santa. Now he ask if Santa Clause is going to come back to his house!

Here Baby Brother play with this! Stockton is a good big brother. He would open up Sawyer's present and try to get him to play with them.

Stockton loves his Binosaure (dinosaur). Stockton turns on the dinosaur and acts scared when it chases him. Thanks Grandparents West. He is such a monkey, and we love him.

New Bundle of Joy

It has been a long time since I have had the time to update my bog. Since the last update we have added a new member to teh family. Sawyer was born November 4th. Since the 4th our lives have changed for the better. Sawyer looks just like Stockton.

Trip to Phoenix

Back in June Stockton, Ryker, my Mom and I went to Arizona for my uncles funeral. That was a LOOOOONG drive with a 2 year old and a 21 month old.

The hotel we stayed in had a nice swimming pool. The pool was in the shade and not heated. Of course in Phoenix that would be nice except the weather was not hot. The 3 days we were there it never got above 72 degrees. We did not spend much time in the water since it was cold. Stockton loves play in the water. He is part fish.

Stockton was HOT so he decieded to go for a swim in the water fountin.

Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun this year with Stockton. Since i had to work early that morning we did not open present until 1:30. When I woke up at 4:00 am it was a white Christmas. the roads were snow packed. I don't drive in the snow. I woke Royce up and had him drive me to work. I was glad her drove since the snow plows decided to take Christmas off. It took me and Royce 1 1/2 hours to drive to Nephi. We never saw a snow plow.
After returning home we had Stockton open presents. He would open one present and get mad because we would not let him open the present and play with it. Thanks to the help of Austin we were able to open Stockton's presents Christmas day.

Great Grandma Cook's Birthday Party

The Cook family had a little get together this year for Grandma Cook's birthday. The younger children and Royce played basketball while other were able to catch up on old times. It was great to see family members that I never seen. We were able to take pictures with 4 generations. Now that Grandma lives in Lewiston I don't get the change to see her much I was sure nice to spend a little time with her. Happy Birthday Grandma.

Stevens' family Christmas Party

Every year for the Stevens' Family Christmas Party each grandchild puts together a ginger bread house. This was Stockton's first year being able to help with a ginger bread house. Stockton enjoyed eating the ginger bread man and all the candy.

This year Stockton was old enough to help carve the pumpking. He did not like sticking his hand in the pumpking so Royce and I thought it would be fun to place Stockton inside the pumpkin. That was fun for everyone except Stockton

Stockton is at the independent stage. He decided that he needed to wear his camouflage PJ bottoms with this basketball PJ top and dad's work boots. Everything at our house gets lint rolled. Stockton is learning fast.

Well here I go again trying to blog. Stockton turned a year old September 2, can you believe he is already a YEAR! The time goes by sooo fast. We had a birthday party at the Holden Park. The theme was John Deere Tractor, it was cute.

While Royce was in Idaho for a week on a fire, Stockton and I went to Grandma Viv's house to visit and PLAY (most of the time was spent playing with Ryker.)
Playing outside in Grandma's hammock was fun. Every time I tried to get Stockton out of the hammock he would throw-a-fit.
